- Women’s knees are different
Women have wider hips, which is why the angle at which the thighbone meets the shinbone is higher than in men (Q-Angle). This puts women at an increased risk for knee injury, which is why they need to pay more attention to keeping their knees healthy (by following the 10 pillars of knee health). - To stay fit with age you have to keep moving. The motto really is “use it or lose it”.
- The SAID-principle reigns supreme
The human body adapts to stimuli all the time. These adapations are geared towards making you better at what you’re doing. In the case of jogging this has unexpected consequences.
